President & COO

Jim Beckham, Jr. is President & COO for Global Resorts, Inc., (GRI) an international leisure industry consulting firm located in Las Vegas , Nevada .

Mr. Beckham has over twenty-four years of experience in the timeshare industry. In the last eight years as a consultant with RCI Consultant, he has worked with a multitude of entry level and experienced developers. Recently, he implemented and completed a two-year program that successfully brought Marcus Hotels into the timeshare industry. He has assisted a leading financial institution by directly managing the workout of a High-End Fractional resort. He has done sales and marketing analysis for troubled timeshare operators and developed programs leading to more efficient and profitable operations.

During the last several years, as the timeshare industry has begun to interface with other leisure segments, Mr. Beckham has worked with a variety of mixed-use developers on designing timeshare into the overall resort mix; hotel developers on conversion of hotel rooms to timeshare; and campground companies and RV manufacturers on integration of a timeshare product into this fast growing leisure segment.

Prior to joining RCIC, he worked sixteen years for Fairfield Communities, the largest timeshare developer in the world. He was successful at every level with Fairfield , receiving an award for Rookie of the Year Sales Representative and later the prestigious President's Club Regional Vice President Award for two consecutive years.

During his tenure with Fairfield , Mr. Beckham was the initial Vice President of Sales at two start-up projects. As Executive Vice President and General Manager for a 22,000 acre Colorado resort with lot, timeshare and condominium sales, he was responsible for a 150-room resort hotel with three

restaurants, 27 holes of golf, and property management of over 200 timeshare units. In Mr. Beckham's capacity as Regional Vice President of the Western Region for Fairfield Communities, he had operational, budgetary and bottom line responsibilities for three full-service resort and retirement communities, four vacation ownership sales operations, and a full-service snow skiing operation. Mr. Beckham coordinated innovative onsite sales generation programs, marketing interface, new product design, construction and implementation, and analysis of new market areas for growth opportunities. During a two-year period, he improved the bottom line operations from multi-million dollar losses to an operating profit of more than $1 million. During his last several years with Fairfield Communities, Inc., Mr. Beckham was intimately involved with the development of Fairfield 's Vacation Club. He gained significant understanding of both the sales opportunities of this innovative points-based product and the property management problems involved in insuring customer satisfaction with this very versatile vacation program.

Mr. Beckham is currently an active member of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), is a certified Registered Resort Professional (RRP), and has been a speaker on Sales and Marketing, and Property Management for both Timesharing and Fractional programs at annual conferences.
