R. David Yarvi, RRP, is Vice President of Marketing & Sales with Global Resorts, Inc., an international leisure industry consulting firm located in Las Vegas , Nevada .

Mr. Yarvi has thirty + years of sales and marketing experience, twenty-two years of which are within the resort/timeshare industry. David's background encompasses all aspects of the timeshare industry with primary focus in the areas of sales, marketing, training, executive level management, administration, operations, development, and sales center designs.

David's sales and marketing career began in 1971 and has encompassed various senior management positions within the resort, real estate, and exchange industries. Mr. Yarvi has recruited, hired, and personally trained over two thousand individuals in a multi-state area, for careers in the insurance, securities, timeshare and real estate industries.

David's experience includes: consultant for RCI Consulting, Inc. (RCIC), Las Vegas , NV for approximately two years. Prior to joining RCIC, Mr. Yarvi held the position, for three years, of Chief Executive Officer for Sovereign Resorts, Inc. an Orlando , FL sales, marketing and development company, which successfully integrated timeshare sales into a four-star Crowne Plaza Resort in Orlando , FL. Under his leadership, the project became one of the first resorts to successfully incorporate the RCI point's product at the point of sale.

Mr. Yarvi's career also includes seven years with Fairfield Communities, Inc., one of the industry's largest timeshare companies, beginning with “record setting production” in direct line sales and advancing through various management positions, including General Manager, and V.P. of Sales. His efforts and contributions, on property owner referral marketing programs, served as a foundation for Fairfield 's highly successful, pace-setting owner referral programs.

Yarvi also has six years of experience, as a Director with Resort Condominiums International (RCI) responsible for Business Development, exchange, affiliations and member services. David also served as Project Director with the Bluegreen Corporation, one of the industry's major public companies.

Throughout his twenty+ years in the timeshare in­dustry, David's responsibilities have included: corporate and site management; numerous start-up & work out scenarios; sales & marketing; development of property owner referral programs; training pro­grams; personnel management; vacation owner­ship and residential site planning and develop­ment; recruiting; hiring; strategic planning; forecasting; resort and residential real estate brokerage; business development/acquisitions; budgeting; P & L performance; and client relations.

Mr. Yarvi is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and an active member of the American Resort Development Association. He has been awarded the Registered Resort Professional (RRP) designation and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and conventions.
